Tony Moly Egg Pore Series

Love at first sight with Tony Moly's Egg Pore Treatment. Super cute and adorable packaging that easily made me want to try. Hard to ignore and not get my hands on these magical innovation.

I got super excited when I was told that these egg -shaped containers carries three complementing treatment to achieve clean and blackhead free skin. The Egg Pore treatment is made up of egg and camellia extracts that is known for clearing up impurities.

Egg Pore Blackhead Out Oil Gel 30 ml P528- clear gel exfoliant to purify that clears out blackhead impurities from egg and camellia extract. Be careful while opening the product because it's too oily.

STEP 1: Massage the clear gel onto areas that you want to clear from blackheads . Usually this would be the nose area. Massage for 3-5 minutes (clear gel turns into white , milky color). Then rinse off with warm water.

Egg Pore Tightening Pack 30 ml P 528- Clay mask that helps tighten pores that have been exfoliated and at the same time calm skin to have clearer and smooth skin. Helps absorb sebum.

STEP 2: Apply right amount of this pack to the area that was exfoliated by the Egg Pore Blackhead Out Gel (Step 1). Leave it for about 5-10 mins. A bit tightening of the area is expected. Then rinse off with warm water.

Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm 20 ml P628 - a pore concealer that makes enlarged pores appear smaller. Helps smoothen and refines pores. A great make up base.

STEP 3: Apply a thin layer onto the area treated and no need to rinse off. Perfect for everyday use as make up base.

V O I L A !!!

I say.....

This Tony Moly's Egg Pore Series really does work. This was taken from my first use. I saw difference in my skin's texture around the nose area. What more if I'll use it regulary. It is recommended to do this treatment 2-3 times a week. There were some blackheads that were not removed but my pores got cleaner a smoother. can't wait till my next session. :)

BEFORE

AFTER

Oh's Verdict!

If you're on a budget, you don't have to have all 3. It really depends on your needs. I suggest you get the first step Egg Pore Blackhead Out Gel, since it is the exfoliant that helps remove impurities. But if you're after tightening pores then you get the step 2 Egg Pore Tightening Pack. But if you want to refine pores that acts as a make up base too, Egg Pore Smooth Silky Balm is for you.

But for me I like all of Tony Moly's Egg Pore Series. It's like having a salon-at-home treat.

NARS Schiap lipstick

I'm glad to have tried Nars Schiap lipstick P1250 (3.4g). Semi- matte finish but creamy when applying. I love how it brightens my face. It is a bright fuchsia hot pink. This is one of those bright lippie that I could easily pair with either soft or bold eyes. Complementing both looks without looking clownish.

I prepped my lips with lip balm before applying lipstick. This way, I could easily apply a semi-matte lipstick and to avoid having chappy lips. Ewww... I'm prone to that :(

This is one of my few Nars make up loot. It is because I find it too expensive. I believe that I could find same shade or a dupe from other brands I love. But since I'm in search for a nice hot pink shade, desperate and disappointed for not having MAC Candy Yum Yum lipstick , my hubby bought me this pretty Nars Schiap lippie. At least it helped me forget about not having Mac Candy Yum- Yum. Well compensated I guess.

Would I buy Nars again? Definitely! I regret that I just tried their lipstick now. But it's not too late. The texture and shade is great. Long lasting and it doesn't have that nasty smell of wax. Little goes a long way. Absolutely worth it. Now, I'm eyeing to get other shades like Roman Holiday and Funny Face. Can't wait to get hold of them soon.

P.S. Would love to hear from you what other Nars loot that I should try.... :)

Benefit: Boxed Powder Blush Collection

From the time I started collecting make-up, Benefit is one of the most sought brand that I wanted to try. Unluckily, Benefit is not available locally so I had to order it online. I would read different reviews about it and it didn't fail to impress me.From packaging to my "blush fetish syndrome", I started to order Benefit's Boxed powders. I first ordered Dandelion, Georgia and 10. And after testing them and loving them, I ordered the other remaining powders
(Thrrrob, Coralista, Sugar Bomb, Hoola and Bella Bamba)

Not all these are blush. Some are sheer finish and only a few are pigmented for a blush. Though the sheer ones (Georgia, Dandelion , Thrrrob and Sugarbomb) hardly showed up on my NC25 skin, I admire it so much because of the hint of color it gives me. It is very sheer but surprisingly brightens my complexion. I always use this if I don't want to put so much make up. It works as an over all finishing powder too. Sugarbomb is more of a highlighter that complements peach or bronze shade.

Can't wait to get Dallas to complete my collection of Benefit Box O' Powder. :)

SWATCHES:

Without flash:

L-R Georgia, 10 (mixed), Bella Bamba, Dandelion, Thrrrob , Hoola, Coralista and Sugarbomb)

With Flash:

L-R Georgia, 10 (mixed), Bella Bamba, Dandelion, Thrrrob , Hoola, Coralista and Sugarbomb

I Say: They are all worth it. A bit expensive $28 each but definitely worth it. You get 10g net and comes with a brush. Save and shop for these gorgeous powders. :)

Tip:
If you want sheer powders to show on skin, use cream blush first and then apply powder. I use Stila Convertible Color in Gerbera and top it with Georgia.

Product Review: Love and Beauty Leopard Cheek Color

I love blushes. My personal collection would speak for itself. I am easily drawn to blushes because with this make up alone, face turns up to be brighter even having a bad skin day. I love to try same shade in different texture. They may have same shade but definitely give different finishing look.

That is why, when I came across this newly arrived cosmetic line of Forever 21 (Makati), I immediately bought this Leopard cheek color.
Isn't it too cute to pass?!! When I saw it, Too face leopard bron
zer came into my mind. Maybe a dupe but what the heck it's only P308. I super love the leopard design of the blush. I wasn't able to try it in the store but i bought it anyway.

It was a cheek color but I say, it's more of a highlighter than a blush. The pinkish shade hardly showed up on my skin. Was a bit disappointed because it could have been a good buy for a blush.

But then, being an accidental highlighter, I'm quite impressed because the shimmer is not glittery. It has a great sheen finish. It is indeed a good highlighter for it's price sans that it's a bit chalky on the skin.

Recommendation:
Rate: 7/10

Would I recommend? Yes, it is a nice highlighter to bring around and for its price, need i say more.

Want more? I would want to try other shade available. They also have the bronzer shades.
